Troy, NY (WBNG Binghamton)

Oneonta had two chances to send the game to overtime, but both lay-ups spun off the rim ending the Yellow Jackets season. Oneonta fell to the three-time defending state champions Irvington 55-53 Friday morning in the New York State Class B Semifinals in Troy.

Mariah Ruff led all scorers with 26 points in a losing effort for Oneonta. Kelsey Baker also added in 10 points for the Yellow Jackets.

Irvington also beat Oneonta two seasons ago in the state finals.
