Greene, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Two members of the New York State field hockey champion Greene Trojans commit to playing in college at the Division one level.

Jahna Driscoll signed her letter of intent to play at UMASS-Lowell.

The school recently announced it would be joining the America East conference starting next year.

"I think it's awesome that UMASS-Lowell is going D-1. It's a great opportunity. I know they've had a strong hockey program and that's something I really looked forward to and I'm looking forward to is I'll be a part of that new kickoff of a whole new atmosphere for the whole school," she says.

Driscoll plans on studying nursing.

Driscoll's teammate Emily Conroe also signed her letter of intent to continue her career.

She will be heading to Wake Forest University in the fall.

She says it's a great opportunity, because she'll be playing with family.

"My sister is there already, playing field hockey and it's a beautiful campus. The classes seem really great and the team is obviously incredible," says Conroe.

Conroe will start her college career as an undecided major.
