Urban headed to BU for lacrosse

Town of Union, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The BU men's lacrosse team played in the America East semifinals on Thursday afternoon, but back home they picked up a local commitment.

Maine-Endwell's Kyle Urban signed to play for the Bearcats next year.

As a Spartan he was a four year starter on the lacrosse team, and also won two state championships as a member of the M-E football team.

He said playing at BU is a great opportunity for him.

"When I was making my decision to go and play lacrosse or even go to school, I was really hoping to go to Binghamton," said Urban. "I thought the school was great and I thought it was a great opportunity to support the local school and go there and represent Maine-Endwell/Binghamton."

Urban joins former Spartan teammate Tanner Cosens on the BU roster.

He says he's going in as an undecided major, but hopes to study business once he gets on campus.
