BINGHAMTON (WBNG BINGHAMTON) Both of Chris Wideman's goals Saturday put his team ahead. His second goal of the Binghamton Senators' Saturday game against Syracuse put his team ahead for good.
Wideman's goal 1;26 was the difference, as Binghamton topped Syracuse 6-5 to stretch its win streak to seven games. It is the second time this season the B-Sens have won seven consecutive games.
Wideman finished with two goals and an assist; Mike Hoffman registered four assists; Cole Schneider had three assists; and Stephane Da Costa added two goals to pace Binghamton.
The B-Sens are now 6-1 on the year against the Crunch.
Binghamton is back in action Sunday afternoon against Wilkes-Barre/Scranton at 4:05 p.m.
