    BINGHAMTON (WBNG BINGHAMTON) Binghamton fell 6-5 in a shootout to the visiting Utica Comets despite holding a 4-0 lead past the midway point of the second period. Brandon DeFazio tied the contest at 9:53 of the third period before scoring the decisive shootout goal to give the Comets the huge come-from-behind win.

    VESTAL (WBNG BINGHAMTON) Union-Endicott used a combined 48 points from CJ Krowiak and Osama Barwari to shock second-ranked Mount Vernon in the Class AA regional final.

    NEW ROCHELLE (WBNG BINGHAMTON) Maine-Endwell made another state playoff game look easy, dispatching of Peekskill, 62-47, to advance to the Class A semifinals in Glens Falls.

    VESTAL (WBNG BINGHAMTON) The Norwich boy's basketball team lost its first game in a year -- to the same team, in the same round of the Class B state playoffs.

  • Oneonta's season ends in defeat

    VESTAL (WBNG BINGHAMTON) Down 12 points entering the fourth quarter, a furious rally by the Oneonta girl's basketball team fell short against Utica Notre Dame. The Yellow Jackets lost 50-44 in the Class B regional finals.

  • Princeton propels past Cornell

    Ithaca, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Princeton hit six 3-pointers without a miss in the first five minutes of the game and ran out to a 25-0 lead en route to a 91-51 victory over Cornell on Friday evening at Newman Arena.
