    Syracuse, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Ryan Bronson ran for 192 yards and two touchdowns. The defense made big plays over and over again. The end result: Chenango Forks won its second straight Class C title, 20-14, over Hoosick Falls.

    Binghamton (WBNG BINGHAMTON) The Binghamton Senators held a 3-0 lead heading into the final frame of regulation for a 4-3 win over the visiting Rochester Americans. Four different skaters scored for the B-Sens while Scott Greenham stopped 31 of 34 shots faced for his third win of the year.

    Vestal (WBNG BINGHAMTON) Visiting Cornell drilled nine three-pointers in the first half and then used a 16-1 run early in the second half to pull away from Binghamton men’s basketball (1-6) 68-54 Saturday afternoon at the Events Center.

    Town of Chenango (WBNG BINGHAMTON) Ten years ago, Chenango Forks won back-to-back state championships. The Blue Devils did it with plenty of kids watching in the stands. Saturday, those kids will play at the Carrier Dome with a chance to make history repeat itself.

  • B-Sens blow 3-0 lead, fall to Ice Caps in shootout

    Binghamton (WBNG BINGHAMTON) Despite holding a 3-0 lead entering the final period of regulation, the Binghamton Senators fell 4-3 in the shootout to the visiting St. John’s IceCaps. The IceCaps notched three unanswered goals within the opening eight minutes of the third before taking the bonus point in the six-round shootout.
