    Binghamton (WBNG BINGHAMTON) The Binghamton Mets collected 15 hits in 5-1 victory over the Akron RubberDucks, on Saturday night at NYSEG Stadium. The team has 71 hits in their last five games. Juan Centeno went 4-for-4 with a run and two RBI in the victory.

    Waverly (WBNG BINGHAMTON) The Waverly Wolverines marched to a 4-and-0 record in their division last year, but ran into the Chenango Forks buzzsaw in the sectional title game, losing 49-15. This year's group says that bad loss weighs on them, and that weight won't be lifted until they get back.

  • B-Mets stomp RubberDucks, keep pace with Portland

    Binghamton (WBNG BINGHAMTON) The Binghamton Mets pounded out 17 hits en route to a 12-3 victory over the Akron RubberDucks on Friday night at NYSEG Stadium. Dilson Herrera went 3-for-3 with a two runs scored and four RBI. Darrell Ceciliani put up a 3-for-5 performance and drove in three runs. He extended his hitting streak to a season-long ten games in the process.

    Binghamton (WBNG BINGHAMTON) The Binghamton Mets are proud to announce Brian Burgamy has been named to the 2014 Eastern League Postseason All-Star Team. The veteran infielder, who has spent time at third base, second base and first base this season, was regarded as the top utility player in the league.
