  • Regnault ready for first start in Binghamton

    Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Kyle Regnault makes his first career start for the B-Mets. The 27-year-old left-hander spent all of 2015 in St. Lucie where he was mostly used out of the bullpen compiling a 4-4 record with a 1.99 ERA.

    Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Fisher Cat left-fielder Dwight Smith Jr. drove in a career-best four runs and the New Hampshire bullpen combined for five scoreless innings of relief to defeat the Binghamton Mets, 8-1, on Sunday afternoon at NYSEG Stadium.

  • Power play lifts B-Sens past Devils, 2-1

    Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The Binghamton Senators scored two power-play goals over the middle frame to hand a 2-1 decision to the Albany Devils on Saturday night. Max McCormick and Casey Bailey scored a goal a piece while Jerome Leduc picked up two assists to help lead the B-Sens offense.

  • Bearcats pummel UMass-Lowell, 16-5

    Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Binghamton men's lacrosse beat UMass Lowell, 16-5, Saturday afternoon. BU tied the program record with 16 goals as it rolled to an America East win at a snowy Bearcats Sports Complex.

  • McNeil powers B-Mets on opening night

    Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Jeff McNeil went 2-for-4 with a home run, a double and two RBI, Robert Gsellman struck out seven batters and the Binghamton Mets took down the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, 2-1, Friday night at NYSEG Stadium.

  • HS girls lacrosse Friday roundup

    (WBNG Binghamton) The weather has put a damper on the beginning of the spring sports season in the Southern Tier. Baseball and softball teams have found it difficult to play games. The lacrosse teams on the other hand are braving the cold and there was plenty of girls lacrosse action across the Southern Tier Friday.

  • Johnson eager to repeat previous success in Binghamton

    Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) One B-Met that's been here before and is back in the Southern Tier is Kyle Johnson. Johnson played 103 games for the B-Mets during their 2014 championship season, hitting 259.

  • B-Mets opening day postponed

    Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The rain forced the B-Mets to postpone opening day against the Fisher Cats. Tonight's scheduled game against New Hampshire will be rescheduled for a doubleheader at a later date.

    (WBNG Binghamton) The weather around the Southern Tier continues to haunt the spring sports season. A couple of games escaped the elements and were played tonight including both the Binghamton girls and boys lacrosse teams.

  • Edgardo Alfonzo returns to Binghamton

    Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Edgardo Alfonzo was scheduled to throw out the first pitch on Opening Day at NYSEG stadium. The B-Mets and New Hampshire Fisher Cats were rained out but Alfonzo still made the trip back to Binghamton.
