    The Portland Sea Dogs struck early and often and shut out the Binghamton Mets, 7-0, Thursday night at NYSEG Stadium. Binghamton managed only five hits and went 0-for-7 with runners in scoring position.

  • First Orders of Business for BU's McKeown

    On Monday, Kevin McKeown was introduced as the new head coach of the Binghamton University men's lacrosse program. The former Bearcat standout netminder has a lot of work on his plate to turn around a team that is a combined 8-19 over the last two seasons.

  • Boyd's Blistering Hot Bat

    Since returning from the disabled list on 7/20, Jayce Boyd has gone 13-for-27 with six extra-base hits. Overall, he is on an 11-game hitting streak dating back to 7/3 and has raised his average from .214 to .273. Boyd is batting .459 (17-37) during his hitting streak and has recorded five multi-hit games.

  • Reading reels in rubber game in rout against B-Mets

    The Reading Fightin Phils hammered out 14 hits, including three home runs, and defeated the Binghamton Mets, 11-3, in the rubber game of a three-game series.
