  • Two homers sink B-Mets in Richmond series finale

    Richmond, VA (WBNG Binghamton) Richmond hit a pair of solo homers and five Flying Squirrels pitchers blanked the Binghamton Mets in a 2-0 loss on Sunday afternoon at The Diamond. Matt Koch surrendered both long balls in his first start since April while Binghamton stranded nine runners in their seventh shutout defeat of the season.

  • NYSPHSAA approves optional 10th football game

    Latham, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Beginning with the 2015 season, teams will have the option to petition their Section for the opportunity to play a 10th game if they do not play in the Sectional Championship game.

  • B-Mets top Richmond on the road, 6-5

    Richmond, VA (WBNG Binghamton) Joe Benson supplied a pinch-hit go-ahead single in the sixth, one of Binghamton’s five hits with runners in scoring position, to push the B-Mets past the Richmond Flying Squirrels, 6-5, on Saturday night at The Diamond. The B-Mets withstood a 14-hit attack from the Squirrels en route to their league-best 22nd one-run win.
