Scott Sasina is co-anchor of 12 News This Morning, providing viewers with the information they need to get their week days started off right!
Scott has been part of the 12 News team since May 2014. He was first hired as a reporter and later accepted the morning co-anchor position in April of 2016.
Before joining the Action News Team, Scott worked part-time for Fox 40 WICZ-TV in Binghamton as a videographer for a year. He also spent two years as a news anchor & reporter for his college news station, WTOP-10, while attending SUNY Oswego.
Scott was born and raised in the Southern Tier, growing up in Endicott. He graduated from Union-Endicott High School in 2010. While in school, Scott was part of several school programs including varsity track & field, football, and even musical theater.
He graduated from SUNY Oswego in May of 2015 with a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast Journalism. Before transferring to SUNY Oswego, received his Associate's Degree SUNY Broome.
Scott loves all sports but especially College Football. He is a huge fan of Notre Dame but also roots for the Pittsburgh Steelers, New York Mets, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Chicago Bulls during their seasons. In his spare time, Scott enjoys swimming, fishing, working-out, video games and playing several sports.
