ARTifact holiday workshop brings out people's creative side

Posted: Updated:

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) -- Holiday music, hot chocolate, paint and ornaments were all part of the ARTifact holiday workshop on Sunday.

The event took place at the Brunelli Art Center in downtown Binghamton. People had the opportunity to paint and design glass bulb ornaments, wine glasses and different mugs.

Tickets were $35 and all proceeds go to the business. Organizers said it's good to put on an event like this to get people out of their comfort zone.

"It's great because a lot of times people are afraid of the challenge," said manager of the Artifact Ceramics Bar Emily Petco. "It's great seeing what people can create."

The next ARTifact holiday workshop will be held next Sunday, Dec. 18 from 12 to 3 p.m.
