JOHNSON CITY (WBNG) - Johnson City's Jordan Davis signed his national letter of intent to Madonna University to continue playing lacrosse in college at the NAIA level. Davis is a three-year member of the JC lacrosse team. The senior plays midfield for the Wildcats. This past season, as a junior, Davis scored 19 goals and recorded 14 assists.
Davis has aspired to play lacrosse in college since he was young and the Wildcat is excited his hard work has paid off.
"It's been a goal of mine since, I want to say, I was like ten years old," said Davis. "I've always wanted to go somewhere to play lacrosse and I've finally made it. When I went to visit the college and got to meet everyone there, everyone was nice. They came with a warm welcome and I really enjoyed their school."
Davis plans on studying forensic accounting.
