BINGHAMTON (WBNG) -- Two Binghamton students were rewarded Wednesday for coming up with the winning designs for the 2017 Parade Day T-Shirts.
Ninth graders Sophia Palmer and Cindy Zhang both received a $100 reward from local Hibernian Society, which organizes the parade.
Palmer designed the front of the shirt, while Zhang created the design on the back.
The 50th annual St. Patrick's Parade will take place this Saturday, March 4 at 1:30 p.m. It will kick off at the corner of Court and Fayette streets and end at Main and Arthur streets.
Organizers say the T-Shirts are only available for purchase at the after-parade party at Seton Catholic Central on Saturday. The party goes until 5 p.m. The shirts cost $15.
