Touch of Texas is bringing a unique concept to the Northeast. The country-western night club has a lot of things under one roof including line dancing, a full restaurant, live bands, banquets, weddings and more.
The business offers line dance lessons on Wednesday nights, couples open dance and request night on Thursdays, currently Friday nights are for Binghamton's Best Voice hosted by WHWK. Saturdays are typically for country bands that are from around the state or the Southern Tier.
Terry Drake, owner of Touch of Texas says, "There's a little bit of everything for everyone. It's a very clean, safe place for people to come and have a nice place to hang out and have a good time."
Drake also says there is a possibility for concerts and it won't just be country. They will feature rock and blues music. "We're still new and there's still a lot to come," says Drake.
Touch of Texas has taken the concept of Texas and brought it to New York making sure to not make it primarily country music so people who like other genres can also go and enjoy the business.
Touch of Texas is located on 1240 Front Street in Binghamton. To learn more click here.
