BINGHAMTON (WBNG) -- Across the state this weekend New Yorkers are being encouraged to dig a bit deeper into their local history.
It's part of the "Path Through History" weekend which happens a couple times a year.
In Binghamton, the Bundy Museum gave tours Saturday to showcase the city's history.
Many came through to see artwork and other historical artifacts, and to learn more about Binghamton's rich history.
"Many of the local museums here and across the state participate," Museum Employee Andrew Pragacz said. "They try to do something a little special for the day. It's a great day for us already we've has about 30 people walk through and were going to have a bunch more today."
More "Path Through History" events will continue Sunday.
There will be a tour of the vintage IBM computing center along with a screening of Hidden Figures. For a full list of events, click here.
