Alexis E. Fajardo is a Vestal High School Alum and began his comics career right here in the Southern Tier before relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2003. He is now back in the area to present a retrospective exhibit at the Vestal Museum that follows his artistic journey.
Fajardo is the creator and cartoonist of the graphic novel series Kid Beowulf. He currently lives in Santa Rosa, California where he creates the comic series and works as the Senior Editor at the Charles M. Schulz Studio for the last 10 years.
An Opening Reception of the exhibit will be held on Saturday, June 24 at noon. People will be able to meet Fajardo, listen to a presentation, attend a comics class for kids, and a book signing will be at 2 p.m.
Fajardo will also be signing books on Sunday, June 25 at the Vestal Town Square Barnes & Noble from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
