Devils sign five forwards to two-way deals

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) - The New Jersey Devils announced the signing of five forwards to two-way contracts on Wednesday. Blake Coleman, Stefan Noesen, Kevin Rooney and Ben Thomson all inked one-year two-way deals. Blake Pietila signed a two-year two-way contract with New Jersey. All five players were in the Devils organization during the 2016-17 season. Noesen is the only player who did not play for the Albany Devils. The Devils claimed Noesen off waivers from Anaheim in January and he spent the rest of the season with New Jersey. 

Blake Coleman - Scored 19 goals and had 20 assists in 52 regular season games with the Albany Devils in 2016-17. Made his NHL debut on January 12 against Edmonton. 

Stefan Noesen - In 32 regular season games with New Jersey, Noesen scored six goals and added two assists. 

Blake Pietila - Played in ten regular season games with New Jersey in 2016-17. Scored a career-high 17 goals in 49 regular season games with Albany. 

Kevin Rooney - Scored 13 goals and added eight assists in 71 regular season games for Albany. Played in four games for New Jersey during the 2016-17 season. 

Ben Thomson - Played in 72 regular season games for Albany, tied for the lead on the team. Scored six goals and added 90 penalty minutes during the 2016-17 season.
