On Friday, August 18, Bon Jovi will make its way to the Southern Tier. The band won't be the only ones from out of town headed to the Southern Tier.

"We've sold tickets to residents of 37 different states so there's a lot of people not from our are, they don't know where to go," Karedes said.

The items that are permitted and prohibited on Friday are listed below.

The huge crowd will have an impact on travel. There will be some road closures the day of the concert.

"Main street will shut down in front of the golf course beginning at noon," Karedes explained. "Main street from Nanticoke Ave. to Grippen Ave. will turn all one way beginning at 2 p.m."

If you're planning on driving on Route 17 during that time, organizers are suggesting people take a detour.

"Go to the Apalachin exit come around, come in that way, you're much better off, you're gonna find the traffic is not that bad," David Pessagno, the DSGO Marketing & Promotions Manager, said.

Most importantly, they say people need to get there early.
