BINGHAMTON (WBNG) -- The Trinity Memorial Church in Binghamton has a very special window lining it walls. It's from Whitefriars Glass Company in England.
The Corning Rakow Research Library has thousandS of stained glass cartoons in its library, one of which was the drawing for the one in Trinity Memorial. The cartoons are life-sized drawings of the stained glass windows.
The church didn't know the window was from Whitefriars until April, when a photographer noticed the friar in the bottom, right corner.
Officials say this window connects the church with other churches around the world.
"Seeing that Binghamton is connected with churches in England, with churches in Soloman Islands , churches in Canada and Australia, those places, through their windows, said Jim Galbraith, Chief Librarian of the Corning Rakow Research Library.
The window was made in 1929.
