BINGHAMTON (WBNG) - Two New York Mets on rehab assignments helped the Rumble Ponies defeat the Trenton Thunder on Tuesday night at NYSEG Stadium, 3-1. Binghamton scored twice in the third inning to take the lead. Kevin Taylor walked with the bases loaded to score Luis Guillorme for the first run of the game. Then, Lagares scored on a fielder's choice for the second run of the inning.

The Rumble Ponies scored again in the fifth on a base hit from Taylor, scoring Guillorme from second base. Binghamton allowed one run in the ninth but held on for the victory.
