Ponies win rain-shorten game in Harrisburg

Posted: Updated:

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) - The Rumble Ponies weren't rained out again on Friday night in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, but the weather did shorten the game to six innings. Binghamton held the lead, 3-2, when the game was delayed in the sixth inning. After a 37-minute delay, the game was called, giving the Ponies the victory.

Kevin Kaczmarski delivered a two-RBI double in the first inning to put Binghamton up, 3-0. Harrisburg scored twice in the second inning on major league rehabber Tommy Milone, but that's all the Senators would get. Milone threw four-and-two-thirds innings. Juan Lagares went one-for-three at the plate.

Binghamton (62-46) and Harrisburg are back in action on Saturday in Harrisburg. First pitch is set for 6 p.m.
