Ponies storm back, win on walk-off walk in 12

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) - The Binghamton Rumble Ponies trailed 3-0 heading into the seventh inning on Wednesday night before storming back to tie the game in the ninth and force extra innings. In the twelfth, the Rumble Ponies loaded the bases, then Erie walked Matt Oberste to bring home the game-winning run, 4-3. The victory was Binghamton's fifth in a row and its fifth walk-off victory of the season. 

The Rumble Ponies bullpen combined for six-and-a-third scoreless innings. The bullpen has now gone 21-plus innings in a row without allowing a run. Drew Smith picked up his second victory of the year. 

At the plate, Luis Guillorme extended his on-base streak to 29 games in a row with a first inning walk. He went three-for-five and scored the game-winning run. David Thompson collect three hits including a triple in the victory. 

Binghamton and Erie conclude their three-game series in Binghamton Thursday night at NYSEG Stadium. First pitch is set for 6:35 p.m.
