KIRKWOOD (WBNG) -- The Kirkwood Town Fair was highlighted by a cooking competition as well as music and a karate demonstration during its second day on Friday.
The second annual hamburger cook off featured several different restaurants presenting unique burgers to the judges.
Organizers believe this compelling event is a great chance for the fair to be community oriented.
"I love the community, I love anything we can do to get our name out there," Beer Thirty Owner Kelly Pillhower said. "Just be with other people, even if we didn't win or didn't place at all. Just hang out meet, talk to and socialize with people. That's what I love to do and that's what we're here for."
Beer Thirty was the winning restaurant in the burger competition.
The fair enters its final day on Saturday, and should even include a firework display.
