BINGHAMTON (WBNG) - The Binghamton Rumble Ponies scored three runs in the top of the first inning en route to ten runs and a victory in Erie, Pennsylvania against the Seawolves, 10-6.
In the first, Kevin Taylor started the scoring with an RBI single scoring Luis Guillorme. Matt Oberste brought in Kevin Kaczmarski with another base hit and then, Patrick Mazeika recorded an RBI double in his first at-bat with the Ponies after being called up on Monday from St. Lucie.
In total, the Rumble Ponies collected 18 hits in the game led by Guillorme with four. Mazeika and Patrick Biondi each had three hits in the victory.
MLB rehabber Tommy Milone allowed six runs in six-and-two-thirds innings. Tyler Bashlor recorded in second victory of the season in relief.
Binghamton continues its three-game series in Erie on Tuesday night. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m.
