Huge night at the dish helps Binghamton sweep Erie

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) - The Binghamton Rumble Ponies exploded for 14 runs on 16 hits Wednesday night in Erie, Pennsylvania to sweep the Seawolves, 14-5. Kevin Taylor led the way with four hits, two RBI and two runs scored for Binghamton. Patrick Mazeika ripped three doubles and recorded three RBI in the victory. In total, five Rumble Ponies collected multiple hits in the game. Binghamton also walked eight times. 

The Rumble Ponies (71-49) are off on Thursday before returning to NYSEG Stadium Friday night for the start of a five-game in three-days series with Portland. Doubleheader Friday night first pitch is set for 5:35 p.m.
