PORTLAND, Maine (AP) -- L.J. Mazzilli had three hits and scored two runs, and Corey Oswalt struck out nine hitters over six innings as the Binghamton Rumble Ponies beat the Portland Sea Dogs 7-1 on Sunday.
Oswalt (11-5) picked up the win after he walked three while allowing one run and three hits.
Binghamton got on the board first in the fourth inning when it scored three runs, including a double by Gustavo Nunez that scored Mazzilli.
Portland answered in the bottom of the inning when Michael Chavis scored on a ground out to cut the deficit to two.
Trey Ball (6-12) went six innings, allowing three runs and six hits in the Eastern League game. He also struck out four and walked two.
