It's almost time for the kids to go back to school, but before that happens the United with Christ Church in Johnson City wants to invite you to a back to school bash.

There will be a lot of things happening at the event. The Johnson City Police Department will be bringing a police car, the Town of Union Volunteer Ambulance will be bringing an ambulance, there will be a photo booth, Andy Armadillo from Texas Roadhouse will be handing out prizes, Stefanie Vandermark from White Rose and Angela Anderson from Cost Cutters will be giving children free back to school haircuts, the JC Bookmobile will be on site for kids to return books or get new ones.

Raffles from the Rumble Ponies, Binghamton Devils, 31 bags, Lularoe, Glow Golf, Moxie and other gift cards will be available to win.

There will also be music, dance competitions, an obstacle course, a scavenger hunt, carnival type games, face painting, temporary tattoo applications, a toddler area with sensory bins and crafts/coloring.

The event will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 30 at the United with Christ Church located on 1025 Robinson Hill Road in Johnson City.

The event is free and open to the public.
