You may have seen Rylee Lum, when a video of him when he was 10, performing an impressive cover of George Strait's classic song, "Check Yes or No" circled the internet.

He is now 11 and is from Gilbertsville, NY. He plays at county fairs and venues around the Southern Tier area. He's also opened up for national act like William Michael Morgan and Jake Worthington, runner up for Season 13 of The Voice.

Rylee joined Kara Conrad on Around the Tiers and said he learned how to play guitar when he was 8 and learned how to sing when he was 9. His favorite song to sing is Amarillo By Morning by George Strait, his favorite Country artist. He also like Garth Brooks.

He will be performing Saturday, September 2 from 12 to 1 p.m. during Bainbridge Days at the town park in the gazebo and also in Oneonta at Neahwa park for the Balloon Fest from 6:45 to 7:15 p.m. You can also see what other performances he has coming up by liking him on Facebook.

Rylee also performed a little bit of a song he wrote called "Country in Me".
