The Coughlin & Gerhart Race for Justice 5K run/walk is an annual event that will benefit the Legal Aid Society. The race will kick off from Court Street Bridge/Peacemaker Stage in Downtown Binghamton. Teams will compete for the highly coveted Justice Cup.
The Legal Aid Society of Mid-New York, Inc. is a not-for-profit law office. It provides free legal information, advice and representation to people who can't afford a lawyer.
First, second and third place awards will go to men and women winners of the 5K run and first in ten-year age groups. The Justice Cup will be awarded to the fastest averaged team.
Registration will cost $25 per person or $20 per person for teams of 4 or more, up to 7 people.
Packet pickup and in person registration will be open on Friday, September 15 at Galaxy Brewing Company from 4 to 7 p.m. or on Saturday, September 16 at Peacemaker Stage from 10 to 10:45 a.m.
The Coughlin & Gerhart Race for Justice 5K run/walk will be held on Saturday, September 16 at the Court Street Bridge. The race begins at 11 a.m. You can pre-register for the race until September 13 online or on the morning of the race at 10 a.m. at Peacemaker stage.
