Jeremiah Allen: 12 Sports Social Star - Week Two

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) -- New this year to Sports Overtime is the 12 Sports Social Star of the Week!

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

Every Sunday, you the viewer will get to cast your vote on Twitter (@LarryBurneal) for the top Section IV performer of the week.

The poll will officially open at 6:30 p.m. and close at 10:30 p.m. every Sunday night.

The winner will be announced during 12 Sports at 11!

WEEK ONE - NOMINEES

  • Jeremiah Allen: Chenango Forks Blue Devils RB/LB
    • In Saturday's victory over Owego, the junior rushed 168 yards and four touchdowns. His final touchdown run of the game came from 46-yards out. 
  • Crooksie 'Stache Night: Maine-Endwell
    • The Maine-Endwell football team and community honored former defensive coordinator and head baseball coach Gary Crooks on Friday night. Students rocked 'staches in the stands. Crooks was a honorary captain for the Spartans. He retired at the end of the last school year. 
  • Newark Valley's Offensive Line
    • The Newark Valley Cardinals rushed for more than 500 yards on the ground during Saturday's victory against Dryden. The Cardinals scored six times on the ground en route to a 51-point offensive outburst. 
  • Dante Kimbrough: Windsor Black Knights RB/LB
    • Kimbrough totaled more than 200 yards on the ground to lead the Black Knights to victory Saturday at Chenango Valley. The senior also scored three times in his return from injury that forced him out of Windsor's week one game.
