Lyceum is a lifetime-learning association for adult learners over 50 years of age. It's Affiliated with Binghamton University and Road Scholar. The fall term starts on September 18.

Lyceum offers its students an opportunity to learn from and among their peers. Classes are held during the day and typically run for a maximum of four weeks. Some courses are designed for listeners, while the majority of classes allow for and encourage discussion and participation. Course leaders are often retired specialists or members who as "amateurs" have pursued their interests in some depth.

In addition to classes, Lyceum offers day trips to exciting locales and ethnic dinners that provide opportunities to socialize and sample foods from other countries and cultures.

Course meetings are two hours long.  Morning courses begin at 10. Afternoon courses at 1 and evening courses at 7. A year's membership costs $45 for an individual or $80 for a couple. Courses cost $5 per two hour session.

Lyceum is located at WSKG on Gates Road in Vestal.
