Police: Ithaca man found with crack cocaine in his mouth
ITHACA (WBNG) -- An Ithaca man is facing drug charges after a traffic stop on Sunday, Sept. 10.
According to Ithaca Police, 38-year-old Teheran Forest was in a vehicle parked on the 300 block of Elmira Road when officers conducted a traffic stop just after two in the morning.
Police said Forest was the passenger in the vehicle and was found to be in possession of crack cocaine. Officers say he was hiding a wrapper containing crack cocaine in his mouth. The driver of the vehicle was issued several traffic tickets.
Forest was remanded to the Tompkins County Jail without bail.
He faces charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree, a class D felony, along with tampering with physical evidence which is a class E felony.
