There's something hand made every where you look at the Art Farm Studio and Gift Shop. Michael Schnurbusch took the cattle and dairy farm over from his grandparents seven years ago.

After taking over the farm, Schnurbusch remodeled existing structures, such as barns and added new construction. He used many reclaimed materials from the barns that were on the property, from doors, to equipment, to window panes and more.

Aside from the gift shop there are flower gardens throughout the property, fields full of pumpkins, Indian corn, sweet corn and sunflowers. There's also sculptures made from old metal equipment that were on the farm or things that were brought to the farm from members of the community.

The Art Farm is also partnering with Hill-N-Dale Garden Club of Chenango Valley to host Pumpkin Palooza. The event is being held to create a scholarship for students in the two local school districts who are interested in the environment, agriculture and more. Pumpkin Palooza will take place on Saturday, September 30 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Art Farm is located on 200 Prentice Rd, Binghamton. Just look for the big red barn. It is open Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
