Howloween at the Zoo is a staple and happens every year at the Binghamton at Ross Park. This is the perfect event for families because it's less boo and more zoo. This event will have many activities for kids between the ages of 3 and 10. There will be pumpkin bowling, a pirate ring toss and more. Kids will collect gold coins and at the end can win prizes and candy.

There will also be Halloween craft stations, a costume contest and more. Pumpkins will be available for purchase, and kids can paint them if they want.

Howloween at the zoo will be October 7, 8, 14 and 15. Admission is $6 for members and $9 for non-members. Admission gates are open 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Rowdy from the Binghamton Rumble Ponies will make an appearance from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 7 and from 12 to 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 15.  On Saturday, October 14 is Local Heroes day, the Binghamton Police Department, Binghamton Fire Department, Superior Ambulance, Vestal Army Recruiting Office and the 501st Legion’s Garrison Excelsior Star Wars characters will be at the zoo.
