BINGHAMTON (WBNG) -- Binghamton High School held its 25th alumni dinner on Thursday night.
Various alumni filled the art gallery outside of the Helen Foley Theatre to reunite as current students hosted the event.
There was a spread of appetizers and punch with music put on by students. Alumni were able to chat and catch up with each other.
Each year the school honors several alumni that have reached a national recognition in their field.
"This is a way to give back some acknowledgment to those who have gone through the Binghamton City School District and have brought distinctions on not only themselves," said Lawrence Kassan, Coordinator of Special Events. "Also for our students to see these people in their prestigious careers."
Opera singer Jenni Bank explained how events like this give students inspiration, "I mean everyone has a goal and a dream and its hard, it takes some discipline, but what is life if your not living for something your passionate about?"
After a reception the alumni were treated to a dinner in the cafeteria.
