The Discovery Center is participating in the New York State Path Through History Weekend to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Suffragette Movement. It will present Kit's Interactive Theater's performance of Women's Rights. The performance will feature actress Kitty Jones as suffragist Siga Schoennwolf.
The play will explore the nineteenth and twentieth century roles and values as they manifested in the home and workplace, through Siga Schoennwolf. The audience will be able to meet the powerful women and men who played a role in the Suffragette Movement such as, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Susan B. Anthony and Frederick Douglass, who led the women forward.
