VESTAL (WBNG) - The Binghamton Bearcats honored two former BU lacrosse players during Binghamton University's homecoming weekend on Friday. Garrett Waldron and Tom Moore both earned 2017 USILA All-American honors for the Bearcats last season. Moore and Waldron were two of the senior leaders for the Bearcats as the lacrosse team enjoyed a breakthrough season, reaching the America East Championship Game. Both former Bearcats expressed how thrilled they are to be back on campus for homecoming.

"It's awesome," said former Binghamton lacrosse player Garrett Waldron. "Coming back here, just as I was driving down, and you saw the campus in the background of the hills, you just feel excited. Kind of feels like home to you. I know a lot of the guys that graduated with me are already here. So I'm excited to see all of them and talk to them. So, it's been awesome."

"It's a really great experience getting to come back here to Binghamton," said former Binghamton lacrosse player Tom Moore. "I miss this place and it's awesome to be here. It was a great ceremony, just happy to be apart of it. It's really just a humbling thing for me."
