UPDATE: Shots fired, 1 injured on Endicott Ave. in Johnson City

Two arrests have been made after reports of a dispute in which a male had been shot with a gun.

The Johnson City Police Department says that a 21-year-old male was injured by a BB gun pellet.

The two men arrested were 24-year-old Brandon L. Oranchak-Wolfran of Binghamton and 24-year-old Hobb L. Morrison of Johnson City.

Oranchak-Wolfran is charged with Assault and Criminal Possession of a Weapon while Morrison is charged with Tampering with Physical Evidence.

The victim was taken to Wilson Memorial Regional Center.

Both defendants are being held at the Johnson City Police Department pending arraignments. 


Johnson City Police Chief, Brent Dodge, says it was an airsoft gun that was involved in the Endicott Avenue incident on Thursday evening. 

Chief Dodge says one man shot another man with a plastic pellet that, "broke the skin."

Their identities have not yet been released.

JOHNSON CITY (WBNG) -- Shots believed to be from a pellet gun were fired near Endicott Avenue in Johnson City, according to Johnson City Police.

At 6 p.m. police were investigating in the area of 15 Endicott Avenue.

12 News crews on the scene saw one man being handcuffed and another man being put into an ambulance.

Officers say one person is being treated for a head injury.

Authorities have not yet released additional information.
