APALACHIN (WBNG) - 'Kans for a Kure' was put together by Ryan Kline. On Monday he brought his can and bottle drive to Jeff Kies Auto in Apalachin, to continue raising funds for Traci's Hope.
"My wife is battling stage 2 breast cancer as we speak," said Kline. "Traci's Hope was kind enough to donate to us in our time of need. Holidays are coming, Christmas is coming, I feel its really important that people have the money to enjoy the holidays. So by raising this money and giving it to Traci's Hope they can give it to the people who need it," added Kline.
'Kans for a Kure' is hoping to reach a 100,000 can goal. All proceeds go directly to Traci's Hope, a non profit organization that helps those impacted by breast cancer.
'Kans for a Kure' will be in the parking lot of Tractor Supply in Vestal on Monday, October 23rd from 5 p.m.- 7 p.m.
Donations can also be given at Shelly's Redemption Center in Tioga Center or at ANS in Owego.
