VESTAL (WBNG) -- On Monday, the Bearcats spoke to the media for the first time, expressing several keys to success this upcoming season. Specifically the sustained health of gifted guard, J.C. Show.
Last season, the junior played in just 12 games after suffering a season-ending tricep injury.
But according to sixth-year head coach Tommy Dempsey, as well as Show, the Bucknell transfer is back to full strength and ready to roar.
"He's the guy," said Dempsey. "At the end of the day, all good teams have a guy, and the players just have a boost and a different pep in their step knowing that he's back."
"Feeling great," added Show. "Really excited to be working with these guys. Had a good summer. Had a chance to get my legs underneath me a little bit as I recovered from the arm, and we're feeling 100 percent, ready to go."
The 2017-18 Binghamton men's basketball season officially tips off at home against Morgan State on November 10, but that's still 11 days away.
