ENDICOTT (WBNG) -- An Endicott woman is charged with first-degree assault after police say her actions resulted in a three-year-old's fracturing their skull.
Endicott police arrested Danielle Agosto, 25, on Wednesday following an investigation by the Endicott Police Department and Child Protective Services.
In a news release, authorities say Agosto "recklessly engaged in conduct that created a grave risk of death to a three-year-old victim and during such conduct, caused the victim to suffer a fractured skull."
Endicott police told 12 News Agosto is an acquaintance of the family and that the situation is still under investigation.
She was charged with assault in the first degree, a class B felony.
Agosto was arraigned in the Village of Endicott Court and sent to the Broome County Jail without bail.
