BINGHAMTON (WBNG) -- A Conklin man will spend the next decade in prison after being sentenced Tuesday for engaging in a sex act with a child.
Tarell Coleman, 27, was sentenced to ten years in prison with 20 years of parole by Broome County Court Judge Kevin Dooley.
Coleman pleaded guilty in June to criminal sex act, a felony.
He was arrested after officials said he engaged in oral sexual conduct with a child under the age of 13 at a Colesville business in May.
“Attacks on children will result in aggressive prosecution and state prison sentences,” Broome County District Attorney Steve Cornwell said in a statement.
