The Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park has a busy November as it wraps up it's 142nd year. First up, Visitor Appreciation Day. All visitors will receive free admission to the zoo and 25% at the Zoovenirs Gift Shop as a way for the zoo to say thank you to the community. This will happen on Sunday, November 19 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The zoo will be partnering with CHOW for Community Weekend on Saturday, November 25 and Sunday, November 26. All visitors are asked to bring non-perishable food donations and they will receive free admission to the zoo.
You can also join in during the zoo's first ever goat yoga session with Rosemarie Murphy from Binghamton Yoga. Goat yoga takes place on Sunday, November 26, at the Knights of Columbus on Park Ave. Registration is $25 per person. This event is limited to guests ages 16 and above.The session will include 30 minutes of yoga and 30 minutes of time to mingle with the goats. A very limited number of Binghamton Zoo "Peace, Love & Goats" t-shirts are available for $15 online with registration. Any leftover shirts will be available at the event. Goat yoga is a fundraising event for the Binghamton Zoo's "Green Team," a group focused on the zoo's green initiatives. Click here to register.
