BINGHAMTON (WBNG) - The red-hot Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins continued its torrid stretch in Binghamton on Friday. The Penguins scored in the first 12 seconds of the game to take the lead en route to victory against the Binghamton Devils, 4-3. It's the B-Devils sixth straight loss.
Binghamton battled, tying the game in the first period on a Brandon Gignac power-play goal. After another Penguins goal in the first, Bracken Kearns knotted the game at two in the second period, but the Penguins scored twice the third period and held off a late surge for the victory.
The B-Devils are back home Saturday night against Rochester at 7:05 p.m.
