ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WBNG) -- The Binghamton Devils suffered their worst loss of the season, 10-3, against the Rochester Americans on Friday night at Blue Cross Arena.
The B-Devils actually outshot the Americans, 32-29, but play between the pipes was the difference.
Mackenzie Blackwood started in net for Binghamton, but got pulled midway through the opening period after giving up four goals on just nine shots.
Ken Appleby replaced Blackwood but wasn't any better, allowing six goals on 18 shots.
One positive note for the B-Devils is that they scored two power play goals in the opening period. Viktor Loov and Bracken Kearns tallied those two scores. John Quenneville added an even-strength goal in the second period.
Up next, the B-Devils host Rochester Saturday night 7:05 p.m. at the Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena.
