VESTAL (WBNG) - Fresh off a 32-point victory against D-III Hartwick, the Binghamton men's basketball team returns to the court Wednesday night at Delaware State. It's a non-conference showdown, but BU head coach Tommy Dempsey says with his team winless on the road this season, the game has more importance.
"We weren't able to win at Cornell, or Mason, or Evansville, so we're 0-3 on the road," said Binghamton men's head coach Tommy Dempsey. "One of the things that I talk to the guys about is bad teams struggle to win anywhere, average teams normally win at home, but to be a good team, not only do you have to win at home but if you're ultimately going to become a contender, you have to go win road games and this is a chance for us to do that."
Ball tips off Wednesday night at 8 p.m. at Delaware State.
