BU men win at Delaware State, women fall at Bucknell

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) - Both Binghamton University basketball team were on the road on Wednesday night. The men faced off at Delaware State, while the women played at Bucknell. 

Binghamton Men:

The Binghamton men's basketball team rolled to its third straight victory Wednesday night at Delaware State, 85-64. Binghamton jumped out to a 16-4 lead, and cruised to victory. J.C. Show led the way with 17 points. The Bearcats hit a season-high 13 three pointers in the game. 12 Sports Athlete of the Week Thomas Bruce recorded his fourth double-double of the season with 14 points and ten rebounds.

Final Score: Binghamton (4-4) - 85, Delaware State (2-6) - 64

Binghamton returns home Saturday to face Colgate at 2 p.m.  

Binghamton Women:

The Binghamton women's basketball team suffered a hard fought loss at Bucknell Wednesday night, 64-59. The Bearcats trailed by ten at the end of the third quarter before forcing Bucknell to hold off a late surge to hang on for the victory. 

Kai Moon led all scorers in the game with 23 points. Imani Watkins added 16. Alyssa James collected 12 rebounds and recorded four blocks in the loss. 

Final Score: Bucknell (5-3) - 64, Binghamton (4-3) - 59

Binghamton is back at home Saturday at noon against Yale.
