#TBT: Johnson City Holiday Parade in 1993

Posted: Updated:

JOHNSON CITY (WBNG) -- This week, we're taking you back to the year 1993 in Johnson City, on the night that the annual holiday parade lit up Main Street in the village.

Making an appearance were local marching bands, the Susquenango Balloon Club and of course Santa!

We're sharing this Throwback Thursday video on the same day of this year's holiday parade in Johnson City.

It begins at 7 p.m.

Organizers say it will start at Your Home Public Library (at Lester Avenue), follow Main Street to the Arch Street Bridge and will end at the Johnson City Senior Center, which is located at 30 Brocton Street.

More information including road closures can be found here.

Members of the 12 News team will be taking part in the parade. We hope you'll join us!
