JOHNSON CITY (WBNG) -- Johnson City senior lacrosse standout Nicholas Conklin signed his letter of intent Thursday afternoon, officially committing to St. Bonaventure's inaugural D-I lacrosse team.
Conklin, a three-time all-division defenseman for the Wildcats, plans to major in sports studies.
He also says that he made his college decision based on what Bonnies head coach Randy Mearns told him.
"It's what you make of it," said Conklin about his conversation with Mearns. "What you want to do. It's whatever you can do. It's not like anybody else's past. You make your own future, so I was really excited about that and up for the challenge. I'm excited to go there."
